Summer Plans

Where are you going this summer?  Where would you like to go?  And what are you going to do when you get there?  Search through Trip Advisor to see what people have said "should not be missed" at the places you are going (or even right here in Boise!).  Become a member of Trip Advisor and you can add your own reviews, earning you status as a Top Contributor! 

Being creative through tinkering and creating without following directions is becoming a lost art! Take time this summer to think about how you can use your hands to do more, create more, make more and tinker for the fun of it.  Stuck for ideas on what to make? Take a look at these two sites which could help you get un-stuck:

Pinterest is a virtual pinboard.  You can browse through thousands of pinboards on almost every topic imaginable! When you see something you like, click on it and you will be taken to the source page on the internet where you can see more about it. You don't have to join to browse the boards.  You will need to join if you want to start your own virtual pinboards.

This is a virtual display-case for all the stuff you make.  Once you join, you can upload your creations and get feedback from the tinkering community (remember Caine and his arcade?).  You can also get ideas from other kids and remix their ideas into something new and awesome from your own imagination. Explore what others have made, here. 

What do you hope to achieve this summer? What are all those really cool things you have been saving up since last summer?  Do you have special traditions?  Things you have always wanted to do? If you write these things down, it has been proven that you are more likely to do them.
